DAY 7: Water Fast (1 Week down)

Going into Day 7 and I did cheat a little yesterday too...but I am not cheating with BAD maybe 3 small spoons of frozen yogurt, and some fruit salad maybe 3 bites...and a nibble off a waffle...that's it! But still...I am ruining the "water-fast" idea....this is hindering me I think...oh and I had a large tablespoon of homemade chicken soup...I do have to test food I am making hehee....

But anyways...I really have to smarten up...nothing bad in what I ate yesterday...but not water-fast acceptable is it?


SINCE YESTERDAY: I am DOWN 0.88 lbs. (0.4 Kilos)

TOTAL IN 6 DAYS: I am DOWN 8.36 Lbs (3.8 Kilos)

And today I had only water so far...but had about 5 homemade frenchfries...I could not resist... :(

Anyways...I am gonna keep on going...see if I have better strength to stay away from small mini caves!

    I have been doing better on the water...even having perrier or s.pellegrino alone or with a tiny splash of mango nectar...I usually only test the food I nothing major...I want to get to all water...but maybe this is working out well also as I am usually down a pound a day like I should be or close to a pound....

    Hubby is another story...he is off the fast...heheheh....he says he will do the more like a king in the morning...a business man at lunch and a poor man at supper. I am helping him...he is not looking to drop weight so quick...he is not that overweight for his height just has a belly but is not and never was concerned with his weight...he might do the sporadic fastings...he just goes to many business lunches here and the culture here is very social over tea and coffee and's hard for himto sit there and drink water...but he's been having lots of salad and greens and limiting rice....

    Just a thought for you as I know you are trying really hard to get to just water on your water fast...Do you think if you set up a reward system for yourself you would be able to stick to your water fast just being water?

    How is your hubby doing on the fast?

    the fast is NOT for a religious my religion Islam the fasting os only from sunrise to sunset and you must break the fast at sundown...only specific time but u can anytime. Anyways it is not for religion. If it was religion even water is prohibited in the fast but must be drank after sundown...

    Muscle is only burned after lonnnng periods of this...mine is a short one to reset my mind and body...and I am ONLY eating because of the craving not because I am hungry. Like for instance making brownies etc...I am past the hungry hungry stage...only hits me if there is some sweet things...I should and will try to realllly try hard to only water tomorrow.

    No one worry about me...I am having no symptoms and I am not rapidly losing...I wish I was but I am not. And I love food...I know how to eat healthy and I know how to exercise. Look at my past logs and you will see...or my past losings....all in my sparkpage and you will see...

    I put this weight onb very recently and I want it off fast...I got into a slump...I can't lose a pound a week...yes it's a lot and great to lose but It makes me feel like giving up...just a have to read about the fast to actually see the benefits! It really IS good for you....I posted one link in the first day and maybe 2nd...soem others posted as well...

    Hope I am down another pound least...I know when to stop this and it is not long term...I love healthy food...then I have to wean myself off it easily so I don't gain too quick...then be on my exercise routine...I did something similar in the past...was fine!

    The amount you are eating seems to be decreasing each day though, so that is getting you closer to your goal of straight water on your "water fast".

    When you do sneak in a bite here and there, are you eating because you are hungry or because the food is right in front of you & convenient? Maybe try picking up a new hobby or something to occupy your mouth/hands when you do get the cravings?

    Please eat healthy food, if you have the possiblity get into a gym and firm up your already wonderful curves, as we get older if we don't train them they go to ground and fast- half starving ourselfs doesn't help it adds to the damage of not giving them enough nutrition.. Ketose is a horrible way to loss weight it can hurt our liver if we burn off too much muscle protein without fueling enough food to the body..
    You have to learn to be at one with food- no one can live this way for any long period of time.. If for religious reason- plan good meals for efter sundown..
