New to me Freaking Awesome BMR Calculator

I wanted a place keeper for this so I don't lose the link. Because I'm still breastfeeding it is hard for me to decide how many calories I actually need and I end up over-eating and I haven't lost any weight since Christmas! I'm still about 20lbs from my pre pregnancy weight, which I don't expect to reach until I'm not BFing anymore. Which could be quite a while. So in the mean time I'm going to try tracking what I'm eating and his eating habits at the same time. I don't want to interfere with my supply or his comfort. I found another calculator on free-diets.com that calculates the amount of calories I need while BFing to lose weight. It suggests my BMR to be 1357. If I eat this many calories and don't exercise at all I will lose weight. Obviously I need to eat more when I have days that I'm active. I may try deficit tracking again just to see if that works for me. Having an infant and tracking what I'm eating has proven to be very challenging. Everyone keeps saying every day gets easier! It's been true so far and I do have more and more "free" time to do things that I want. I suppose it's up to me to prioritize those things that are most important to me.

    Ummmmm... I would love to be your weight.

    I haven't seen 130 anything since I met my hubby, of which we didn't take long to get into having kids.

    I was 125 when I met him.

    I really would be happy at my goal of 132... so freaking frustrated I can't get it together enough to reach it already.

    But, seriously go you and this sounds like a great and safe plan. :)
