This and that.

Sunday, February 26, 2012

Well, it has been an interesting week to say the least,I have snowdrops in bloom and lots of other spring flowers poking through the chilly ground, then we got a rain fall the likes of which I have not seen in a looooooog time some of which found its way into my house via the kitchen ceiling. I immediately went into stress mode, thinking of a huge bill.Anyway through reliable sources I found a company that will do repairs if that is what is needed, they come well recommended their employees are fully insured and the upshot is the south side of the roof
has to be replaced {I think the racoons and squirrels had a hand in that}playing soccer and hockey up there.}Back to weather, after the rain we had a day of beautiful sunshine, followed
by more heavy rain and snow, yesterday we had gale force winds, talk about variety still it
blew the clouds away..
Tomorrow I get to listen to musical saws and hammers on the roof.
Have a good day everyone. emoticon

I know exactly how you feel, we have just had to have half of our roof replaced after only 4 months in the bungalow. Luckily we found out because we had our loft hatch moved & the builder found that there was a load of rotten stuff. Unfortunately the surveyor covered himself in his notes stating that it looked ok but suggested we checked with a roof specialist. We were lucky to have a great guy recommended & he did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. Hope you get yours fixed quickly.
