No More Waiting

I think it's time for me to quit waiting to feel motivated to change, and to just try to force the issue. I don't mind too terribly being plump. I DO mind being unhealthy. That has to stop! So...here's to turning over a new leaf and taking care of my body properly so I can enjoy my life and be around for many years to come for my husband and baby girl!

    You know I keep thinking I will lose this 100 pounds when the doctor says I have some health issue. I don't seem to be having any health issues except borderline high blood pressure. So, I take meds and feel pretty good for an obese person. I don't like the word "obese". It is such an ugly word. But, one time I was reading my medical file for something and right there in black and white the description of me was "obese".

    Well, I decided finally 2 months ago that I need to do this BEFORE the doctor tells me I have diabetes or whatever.

    SparkPeople is the best thing I have seen in years. I just happened to find it in a news article and I decided to check it out.

    I have lost 20 pounds since I started and I am overseas working where they furnish my food which creates a challenge. But, I am utilizing all the tools they have including articles on motivation etc and it is really working.

    I think if you make up your mind that this time you are going to get it done it somehow comes together.

    Sounds like you have decided. Good for you.

    I believe that if you create a mindset about being healthy, and create a plan with little steps to goals of feeling better, you will start losing weight also.
