I had a really good week. I lost 1.2 kg (2.5 lbs)!
I'm delighted and this gives me the boost I needed. I'm back to where I was in March last year which means I have lost the weight I gained when I quit smoking over 8 months ago.
This shows that hard work pays off. I was feeling so tired earlier this week and even discouraged but I managed to get some much needed rest on Thursday.
I have to schedule Friday as my rest day next week since I will be spending the evening with my co-workers and will not be able to exercise. We plan to eat take-out, have lots of drinks and compete in our annual nerdy "triathlon" (darts, fussball and board game). I'm going to drink but in moderation. I'm not worried about food since I'm a vegetarian and I'm sure my options will be limited anyway. I think I might bring my own food. Hopefully, my weigh-in next week will be good. We'll see.
