liking these mini-goal/task days

Well, 2 days into my goals program: write down 3 goals or tasks for the day and refer back often to help keep yourself focused. Yesterday I completed 3 and today I received a "I need your help" call from my DH that altered my timeframe for the 3rd task - no matter, I simply completed his urgent task and did so with a little more vigor so that I felt really good about it. OK - here it is: he is in sales and needed our large suv to drive clients tomorrow. Well it hasn't been cleaned on the inside since his last boy Scout camping weekend - gear and muddy shoes....why does the color black show everything. I did an excellent job!

Keeping to my daily calorie intake is an underlying goal for this week. I have found that if I post just before I start dinner for the kids then I know that I really have very little to work with and can "save" it for dinner with my DH later. We eat late - 8:30 or later due to work/sports/activity schedules. So far so good and am looking forward to a good weigh in on Monday.

    Although I'm measuring (for the most part), I'm not tracking as I was. Your post is an excellent reminder to me to get back on track with this.

    Tracking really does help, doesn't it? I've been amazed to see how much extra I was eating! We are doing this!!!
