i'm baaack

So, I had a rough year, and Spark was one of the things I pushed aside. However, I really, really, for really real need to get my weight back down. My back is finally healed (no more doctor visits! Down to almost half the number of pills!), but thanks to all those steroids I had injected to try and heal it (which didn't, however a PT did!) I gained a bunch of weight. I would have thought that once I was done with them it would have helped, but it still went up a bit more. Oy.

I am in the midst of a new year. Some of the previous year's stressors are gone (though I still miss my kitty who passed a bit before my last birthday) and things are looking up. Now I just need to get my health back on track. Need to cook more and not eat the treats my coworkers constantly bring in. Need to not be lazy and have the hubs pick up sandwiches or pizza for dinner. Need to keep to my running schedule. Once I am able to run a 5K at my old pace, get back to my strength training plan.

I have too many things I want to do this year, and this extra twenty or so pounds has to go. I will get healthy, get my energy back, get back into my wardrobe, and get back to having some fun!!

    emoticon So glad to see you back on Spark!! Glad to hear you are feeling better. Let's plan on the Tower of Terror Ten Mile in September. I have been doing five miles a day five days a week on the treadmill on random incline. I am halfway there!!
