My Body is Weird

Tuesday, February 21, 2012

Yesterday I complained about not seeing much difference lately weight -wise. So today I decided to re-check my body measurements. My hips and waist haven't changed. But my arms have lost 1.25". My arms... Really?! I'm walking and cycling & my arms get smaller? What the heck? I couldn't help but start laughing & neither could my husband when he helped me measure the arm. I'm not completely complaining because I am happy about my arms getting smaller but I want my waist & hips to get smaller too. Do I have to wait for my arms to lose their fat before I start losing the rest? Ugh! I just think that's weird.

someone told me that that last weight on would be the first off. I always notice it in my face first - less puffy as I eat healthy. Measurements can be a good motivation when the scale doesn't budge.

At least you lost somewhere. Maybe next your ankles will go?

Perhaps your arms are just more cooperative than the rest of you?
Losing anywhere is good. Weird. But good.

emoticon Totally relate! I'm on the elliptical 5-6 days a week.... and my thighs have the smallest loss of my body. Really? Shouldn't they be melting??? Keep doin' what you're doing'... you're doing great!

emoticon @ your arms. My body's not so weird, except for its sense of humor.
