The Metabolism Reset

Monday, February 20, 2012

Was not the fun event I had hoped for. :(

I ended up eating a ton of banana pudding ice cream to get myself into the "cheat" zone...and I hated every minute of it. It was too sweet, too "much", and it gave me a stomach ache for most of the night. I would have just sacrificed the challenge points for this if it weren't for the Carb Cycling thing I'm doing calling for a cheat day...on Sunday. I just didn't feel like it. I'm trying to come up with a better plan for next Sunday...maybe a nice dinner out or something. But no more mass quantities of ice cream...just wasn't fun.

This is wonderful. You are changing for the positive! It may just be you know what bad feels like now. So can listen to your body. I wouldn't force food on yourself even for carb cycling. Maybe just eat more starches or veggies that day instead of something that makes you feel ill???

I had my metabolic reset on Sunday. I ate, what seems like a ton of raspberry muffins, and then went to IHOP with my uncle and his family.

I would say that I felt bad about it, but that would be a complete lie. So, let's just say that I enjoyed every bite of the food I ate. Of course, I don't think I should do that on a daily basis, but it felt good for at least one day.

Might call my Japanese hibachi lunch out with the girls on (probably) Wed. as my cheat day, depending on what we eat, or drink.

Sounds like your taste buds are changing. I remember when I could eat a whole pizza. Over the weekend I ate 2 pieces and was sick to my stomach. I had to take some Pepto Bismol. I was hurting!

I had an unofficial cheat day Saturday.... I hope you are right! I need a metabolism reset.

I think a dinner out would be nice. I have a dinner out planned this weekend. Maybe it will be my cheat meal (within reason)
