Week 2..Dissapointment

Well I dont know what i done wrong this last week cuz i pushed myself even harder stayed within my range of calories and everything like i was suppose to and yet when I weighed in i actually gained half a pound! This is usually when i give up cuz my hardwork didnt pay off it only made things worse.But Im not giving up,i definately need to find something else to motivate me now that the scale went up..So off i go for another week..................... emoticon emoticon

    I'm sure your hard work did pay off...just not on the scale. How is your energy level? How about your skin? How about your posture? Clothes? Did you feel bloated and tired and lazy after eating or energized by your healthier food choices? Find your victory and celebrate it!

    No, definitely don't give up, the scales do strange things. You can fluctuate up to **five pounds** really easily, just based on your hydration. The important thing is the trend and 1 week just isn't long enough. The scales will move in the end, if you track what you eat really carefully and keep up the exercise. Some weeks I gain a bit or lose nothing at all - other weeks I "lose" a couple of pounds. No rhyme or reason to it day by day - but since last June I've lost 31 lbs and *that* is not imaginary! Don't give up!
