24 Things Everyone Should Know About Me!

Saturday, February 18, 2012

For my big birthday blog, I decided to be a little more creative. I have come up with 24 things (as I turned 24 years old) that everyone should know about me, in no particular order of course! Here we go!

1. I am a Christian!

2. I am a nerd! Yep, you heard me right, I am a book loving, Star Trek and Star Wars watching, Lord of the Rings obsessed, nerd!

And I am not afraid to admit it! :D

3. I lost my Dad when I was sixteen years old and I still miss him.

(He used to climb mountains and this was one of his carabiners, it goes everywhere with me.)

4. My Mom is easily the most important person to me on any level.

(and yes, she is wearing a rooster hat, because she is just that awesome.)

5. I love music!

(This is an album that I love to listen to when I need a boost of happy in my life.)

6. I am passionate!

7. I watch a little too much television (I enjoy my shows)!

(Just a few favorites :D)

8. Heh. I love words, I really, really do.

9. My favorite kind of weather: rain, wind, gloom, thunder/lightning, etc.

(my kind of day!)

10. I get crushes, but I am not the "boy crazy" type or the chasing type.

(" can't catch me I'm the gingerbread man!")

11. I don't swear! I really don't. I mean, yes, occasionally I slip, but that is rare. (I am fond of "blast", "fuzzy lumpkin", or whatever random thing happens to pop into my head).

12. I am thrifty! I love to reuse, refurbish, find deals where no one else would look, etc. Living on a shoe string has its benefits, like helping you discover creative ways of acquiring the necessities and enjoying the non-necessities. :D

13. I am a fit girl! Believe it or not I actually love to workout, no, I mean it, I am one of those sweat loving, endorphin craving, iron pumping, workout fanatics!

Someday I will actually look the part!

14. (Kind of a part two to number 13) I have issues with food, but I am working on it.

(and no, you do not need to point anything out to me about my eating, trust me, I already know!)

15. Lets just say that I am not a fan of ebooks.

Give me good old fashioned paper any day!

16. I greatly prefer honesty! If you are upset with me for any reason, if you have an opinion, if you like me, if you want something to change, if you disagree, if I ask a question, etc. etc. etc. ANYTHING!! Please be honest!

17. I LOVE to laugh! (Having a sense of humor has gotten me through a lot!)

18. Sometimes when I am feeling stressed, I clean and organize things.

19. I love animals, but have a special place in my heart for dogs!

20. Sometimes I still want to feel like a princess...

(Yes, I wore a tiara to work on my birthday!)

21. I can be REALLY silly, but I try to keep it to a minimum and I do know how to be serious.

22. I have an affinity for sarcasm!

23. Sometimes I can be a really big coward.

(but I am working on that too!)

24. I love my friends and my family!!

Sorry this took so long in getting posted, work sort of consumed my life for most of the week. I can't wait for tomorrow (I am posting this at 1AM), because I get to celebrate!! My Mom is taking me to lunch and then we are just going to do some girl stuff! Yay! Still hard to believe I am already twenty-four, my goodness time really does pass quickly!

Thanks, all you lovely sparkers, for being awesome!
