3 weeks into the diet

I just read Best of Sparks article about weighing yourself too often. They are definitely right. I weigh myself everyday and like today I gained a pound. How is that possible? I am not cheating. It's so discouraging. I've got to wean myself from weighing everyday. Knowing I'm doing the right thing I must remain positive that it will show in the numbers.Most of my meds that I'm on make you retain and even gain weight. I'm making my Dr appts to see if we can change any of them. It helps knowing I'm not alone in the lifestyle change. Thanks for being here.

    I do weigh every day but I keep in mind that my weight can fluctuate as much as 2-2.5 pounds from day to day. I know that it makes a difference what I eat or drink and don't get overly excited when I weigh more than I did yesterday. The scale is not my Bible! Hang in there and good luck!

    Here's a tip for weening yourself from weighing.... I put mine on top of the fridge! LMAO I'm short and its towards the back. It's a pain in tush to get at for me. (like an extra exercise actually) I should take a picture, it's comical to see me get it down. Love Tweety's comment too .. Yea it's not the bossayou!!!
