What I've Done Right

Dadgum, why is life such a roller coaster?! Last Monday, I felt on top of the world, but the week that followed that Monday was H-A-R-D!! I'm having a hard time coming up with what I did right this past week because I keep thinking of what I did wrong (like eat too many fatty meals).

Here goes...

1. I completed my first 12 mile run on Friday. I feel truly ready for the half marathon! emoticon

2. I kept track of all my food everyday even when I knew it was going to be ugly. emoticon

3. I've kept logging into Spark especially when I didn't feel like it. Otherwise, I would have been eating!

4. Even though it's been a rough week mentally, I know that I'm okay. The sun will be shining tomorrow, and I'm going to be delivering Valentine's all day. That is going to be the "sunny-filled day of fun" I need.

5. I promised myself that THIS would be a week of healthy eating only- no splurges. Day 1 is off to a good start!

    You're so emoticon Roxanne! Even when you have a "hard" week, you're still inspiring.
    For my part, I ate clean and exercised every day--even with a sore left ankle and a tweaked right knee--but by far the best decision I made last week was to start this week with a day off! This is a long race we're running, not a sprint (and you know all about those, Ms. 12-mile-runner woman! Wow!)

    I think you did GREAT last week! All I can say is that I guess we should both be counting our blessings that we post those blogs every Monday because we're both having a hard time as of late, huh? Have a WONDERFUL week!

    Girl, you are just too hard on yourself. Sounds like you got a lot more accomplished than I did. 12 miles??? Wow!! I think you need to give yourself a pat on the back.

    BTW, did you get much snow yesterday? We're still covered here and the donks haven't left the barn in 2 days. I'll get plenty of exercise up there today. Can't wait till Spring.

    Hello...12 mile run!!! thats what you did right- And you bonded with your kid, thats something else you did right. Sheesh!
    I did not lose my patience with my mother!
    I tracked all week.
    I exercised
    I drank the water
    I played designated adult...all the time....
    so yeah, I did good. :)
