Better Than Yesterday

So today was better than yesterday. I don't need to vent today. But I am noticing my motivation is trying to sneak away. And its making me a little bit grouchy.

Yesterday I put off exercising until I just couldn't anymore so I decided to try some yoga on OnDemand. Well I did not like it. I don't dislike yoga but I did not like that yoga. It was called 3rd Eye Chakra Yoga. I don't even know what that means really, just some new age stuff. But I tried it and after just sitting there and looking from one side to the other quite fast for at least a minute I felt motion sick. So I did everything but the dizzying stuff but when I got done I just felt ill. So I went to bed early and didn't even have the snack I had left calories for. Anyway I don't recommend that yoga if you're prone to motion sickness. (Okay maybe I had to vent just a tiny bit.)

Today I still don't feel great but at least I'm not nauseous. But again my motivation is slipping away & I did NOT want to exercise. But I told myself I only had to do ten minutes of exercise. So I put in my new Leslie Sansone video & just started walking. I ended up doing 3 of the five miles in the video and the warm-up, cool down & stretching. All in all it was an hour of exercise. I had no idea that today was going to be one of my best exercises based on how much I hadn't wanted to do it! Now its over & like I've heard... I don't regret doing it but I would have regretted not doing it.

    Great job! I get motion sickness easily so I wouldn't have liked that yoga either. I'm glad you were feeling better the next day and did so well!

    emoticon Good job getting in the exercise! "They" say the hardest part of the workout is putting on your shoes and taking the first step. For me, that is really true! Once I have those shoes on and start, I'm committed to it. emoticon
