A day of rest? Well it should be, but often it is not. Also too many times it is a day off from "dieting" and that is not a good idea either. However, sometimes my body thinks it should gain that day no matter how hard I have tried to stick with it. It seems so discouraging. They want us to tell of our successes and discouragements, that is all well and good, but it seems like when I say something seems to be working, I feel as though I suddenly have jinxed it and it stops or even backfires on me. So I don't like to write about the dieting. I am doing a lifestyle change, mostly have only needed to concentrate on portion sizes and exercise, that has always been my down fall.
Now I also need to address these "Hot Flashes". WOW they seem to be never ending, Oh they do, but they awaken me at night and roll through my day. Hot like fire for a couple of minutes, almost like the wave of a labor pain, then I'm cold. I have read that deep belly breathing can help, but I can't see that it is. I had been taking soy Isoflavones, but that isn't helping (I increased it, but may have to try doing that again.) It's bad now in the winter, but spring is a few days away and I don't know what I will feel like then! Hope they are better by summer!!!
( I wonder about Jeep she is my dog. She recently had to have an emergency hyserectomy. Is she feeling the same things I do. Somedays she is so down looking. I wonder?)
