Only 3.5 lbs away from goal weight!

I stepped on the scale, saw 138.5 lbs, said "no way!", then weighed myself again. Can hardly believe it, but it is an incredible feeling being this close to my goal weight. It has certainly been a battle, but it is so encouraging to see these results. The best part? I am still motivated to stick to my workout routine and healthy eating plan. In the past, it was so easy to resort back to unhealthy habits or give myself some leeway once I hit a milestone. Not this time! Once I hit 135 lbs, I am still looking forward to toning my body and maintaining my weight.

Sept. 22, 2012 is the day of my wedding, and although that was my final date to reach my goal weight, it certainly is not the end of my healthy habits - it was just a way to push myself to stick with a plan. I am so proud of myself that I have (almost) met my goal so far in advance to our wedding date. Now I am looking forward to a hot stone massage - a little non-food reward to myself once I actually hit my goal weight. So close! emoticon
