Hungry Days v. Not Hungry Days

Am I the only one that experiences the Hungry v. Not Hungry phenomena?
Some days, I really could care less about food. I'm just not hungry. I still eat my planned meals, but with little thought or fanfare. Eating just isn't a big deal. These are the BEST days because it is easy to stay within my range.
Other days, I am nothing but hungry and think WAY too much about food. I eat up my planned meals and want more, more, MORE! I have to drink lots of water and stay away from the junk on those days. I tend to feel entitled to splurge. Too many hungry days are most likely to blame for my current state of stuckness.
Today was a not hungry day. I wish all days were this easy. I mean, I had to force myself to eat a salad for lunch. I just didn't care to eat but knew I needed to.
Wish I knew why some days are like this...I would keep it going until this extra weight was G-O-N-E.
I so want my 10lbs lost par-tay...
