Steps toward success - Motivation through competition

My workplace started a "biggest loser" challenge back in January. While we have discussed it in the past, glad to see that we followed through with it this time as it has lent some fun competition to the boring drudgery of weight loss. There are about 12 of us who joined and one month in we have lost around 75 lbs. No one individual has had huge numbers, but several are in the 5 - 10 pound loss range which is healthy. It's good to see healthier snack at the meetings and people engaging in discussions about eating better and exercise habits. This has been a blessing for me. I had already decided once again to try and lose some of this weight as so far, 40 years old is not feeling to well. I really want to get better slowly with some small changes that are sustainable. This competition has helped me do that. I am thankful for my coworkers helping me out.

By the way, guess who's in the lead???
