walking through February

Wednesday, February 01, 2012

My goal for Valentines was to fit into a smaller dress. Specifically one from not the plus size section. I've made it. However, depending on the dress maker I am a size XL to a size 2X. This is mainly due to chubby arms and big breasts. So I've decided that my goal for February will be less arbitrary than size, since it's so random. I have decided that my goal will be to walk everyday as exercise. Hurrying while at work will not count. Today my youngest child and I went to the walking track at Harmon and did almost a mile. I will make it work.

Jane- The track is just shy of 7/10th of a mile and if you park near the swim pool and walk the extra distance then you are easily 3/4 of a mile. There are 4 circles on the track you can stretch at or rest at or whatever. If you ever want to meet there and do a lap or two let me know. For this month I'll be walking that track, Tumon, or the mile and a half between mine and my hubby's work usually.

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words. I've decided to see if I can make a marathon of distance within the month.

How long is that track? I see it is flat so may be safe for my knee.
