Back to the Gym...day 2

Well...it went MUCH better today. 60 minutes of Spin, 30 minutes of Ab class...and I felt pretty great when I was done! I did Spin in a lower gear(s), but I got it done. :) I want to do more today, but I'm trying to do my best to ease back into it, and keep to a more reasonable pace. If nothing else, I hope to keep it at no more than an hour of "hard" cardio a day, no more than 5 days a week, and give myself an "as needed" pass for doing things like walking or hiking. I don't want to be sedentary, but yes, I was doing too much. (I have to keep hammering this into my head lest I forget!) I'm feeling my panic decrease today...I'll be able to get back into it, and I'm not going to go crazy with it again! (At least not every week.) :)
I made a lovely yellow cake with white chocolate buttercream icing and strawberry filling (all homemade!). The decorations ended up being done by my 10 year old, so it's not perfect, but we had fun!
On tomorrow's gym agenda...run!! I haven't run in two weeks now, so I'm not expecting great things...I just want to get through an hour of run 5, walk 3 to get myself back on track!
