Back to the gym...day 1.

45 minutes on the elliptical, low resistance. It sucked. It's not that it was hard, I just didn't feel like doing it. I had lofty plans to go back later in the evening for Body Pump and Kickboxing, and never made it...I started to feel pretty run down about 2 hours after I left the gym in the morning, and it helped to remind me that I'm supposed to be taking it easy. :) On the agenda for tomorrow...Spin, but on low resistance, and ab class. And nothing more... :)
In other news, I'm getting obsessed with cake decorating again (just finished watching the finale of "The Next Great Baker"). I'm pretty good at it, but have gotten away from it since deciding to "get healthy"...which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. It's very easy to eat ridiculous amounts of cake and icing while deocrating...but I really do miss the activity itself. It is a pretty good creative outlet, and I just find it to be relaxing. I'm going to allow myself to decorate a few cakes tomorrow to see if I can't get it out of my system. :) I've already made the cakes and a few cupcakes (cooling on the stove now)...and I'm proud to say that I wasn't tempted to eat the batter!! I might be able to make this work after all. :)
