WHEE! Wait. Are you saying you're both on a plant-based diet? Hmmmmmmm. I know it's way healthier ... I'm just having major pangs at the thought of giving up fish and eggs. Not to mention bacon. :D

Heh. I grew up in India. Meat was a once-in-a-while delicacy. Now, having lived in North America for 20+ years, I get to say stupid things like I just did above. :) Gotta start looking at that plant based diet again - I know I was way healthier back then!

Thanks for making me think. Well, thanks to your husband for making me think! :)

    Cheers,
    Maya

Thanks for the link. And congratulations to you
and your husband for rethinking your diet.
While I occasional still add fish to my diet and
include a little dairy, most days, my husband
    and I eat a plant-based diet.

I have eaten this way for twenty years and
love it for all the reasons your husband
describes. I like making a smaller footprint
on our planet. I love eating. I love eating
this way. It does not feel like deprivation.
It feels like love, for myself, for the animals,
for the planet, and for future generations.
