I need a sledge hammer for my scale....

Wow! The scale is running my life this morning. It's UP 1.5 pounds this morning. I had to laugh because before the scale would make me eat more! Not this time. I am going to have a chat with my brain today. Here's what the chat looks like:

"Stop freaking out. First things first. You had a very good eating day yesterday. I would rate it a B+ or even an A- compared to what you have pulled yourself out of. You might have had that little piece of chocolate - but so what? You skipped the bun at dinner for it! The only thing that could have been corrected is probably eating only half of that big meatball for dinner and then also watching salt content (I am super salt sensitive!) - there is tons of salt in pasta sauce.

You didn't eat the noodles - which is a real accomplishment for you - so celebrate. It's going to be fun to look back and see these little blips on the weight tracker report. Back to heading for 160. You've passed your first goal - on to the second. No looking back Mrs!"

I am off for a mood improving walk. I have somewhere to go (the bank) and I am going to enjoy this rain-free moment!

I will not give up!
