2nd Sparkversary~~Wow! Times does fly!!!

Has it been two years? I remember anxiously awaiting my first Sparkversary last year and now it passed by with me barely noticing! Things are the same & yet different !
Different: Am not on SP as much as I lost the wt. & have only regained a few lbs. back.,so I am unable to track every day anymore.
I don't huddle as much or get to talk to SP friends as much.
I hardly ever do quizzes & trivia anymore.
I don't do streaks of spinning the wheel daily.
Same: I DO LIMIT myself quantities of fats~margarine is measured by tablespoonfuls and anything I have to eat out of a box or container IS measured.
I check as I choose a snack ~am I low on protein or folate and get the cottage cheese or almonds or fortified Choc.Cheerios {for folate besides spinach~though I LIKE spinach} and eat measured amts. A lot of my calorie-counting is INTERNALIZED NOW ,so I have a good idea of portions and cals.
I still have & will always have the ol' sweettooth but it isn't used EVERY DAY!
Water has become MUCH MORE IMPORTANT and I find I can now get my 8 glasses alot easier than my old usual 4 glasses that I used to drink.
Pre-cut fruits & veggies help me snack better if it is already done and I will buy them pre-cut if I don't have the time to do it myself!
WEIGH MYSELF at least once a week or 2-3x a month to keep track of my weight!
Get in the exercise~not always every day as I would like ,but am consistent in sticking to the gym once a week {for me that is a BIG commitment!} and 1x /wk is all my hubby's work schedule allows right now as he works very long hours and cannot change as he is VERY close to retirement age!
Keep eating the oatmeal with fruit for Breakfast although I will switch it sometimes with low-cal. breakfast when eating out!
Keeping to small meals throughout the day so my blood sugar doesn't get too low.
Trying to keep my other streaks still going{no soda at all; sharing with other about SP daily;using one type of sports equipment usually my Garmin daily in counting cals burned.
Keep in touch with my teams and SP friends[especially sending goodies~'cause EVERYONE can use an uplifting goodie and/or message!} when I can~even if it has been 3 mos.!
Making myself "get in some exercise" through parking further away in the parking lot or walking to the store occasionally{5 min away!}.
Keeping active with my young son by playing games with him~running games,hide,etc. or visiting the different parks .
I LOVE that SP has taught me some of these tips so that I COULD INTERNALIZE smart eating habits and keep healthy and strong & full of energy! Thanks SP! Here's to two great years!

    I haven't been on a year but I still enjoyed reading your blog. I can see how SP taught you some good life-long habits you can live with. I was especially encouraged by your new found love for water. I HATE WATER but am trying to retrain my brain. Reading your blog gives me hope.
