STOP Goals

This is my S.T.O.P. Goals.

S is for short.
This will be short. So am I.
It is also for Stop Stress (NOW!)
It has been quite a week.
The headache still keep cropping up, it does feel like sinus, and yet it feels stress related.
I backed off the computer for the morning, did the dishes, had some quiet time, read my Bible, and just finished making a chicken soup, except for adding the egg noodles in a while.

T is for time.
I need to make time for me, and everything else, and keep everything else from overwhelming me.

O is for optimistic.
That is what I try to be as much as I can. Sometimes it's hard. You know that. You face the same thing.

P is for peace.
One of my spark friends mentioned that today, and I have been thinking about it, and read some scripture on it. There is a verse in Isaiah - He will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is fixed (set) on thee. Now that may be a slight paraphrase, as I am doing it from memory right now, and I read several versions and I mix them up at times. Nonetheless: peace.

    Its about getting back to basics -focusing on those things you can control. The job market is really tight for everyone. It would be hard for anyone to get a job, let alone someone partially disabled.. Do try to get lost in something you can enjoy and have fun with every day. Things will come when they are ready. No use worrying over them.

    Illness is stressful since it derails us from our usual schedule. All I could do the was sleep and eat chicken soup when I was sick for two weeks. Hope you feel better soon. emoticon
