Feeling discouraged and I have lost momentum. I know it is because of the weight gain.

I feel like I am forever whining, but I grew up learning to talk things out. So alot of good gets left out on "paper ". Ugh. Then all the not so fuzzy feelings get compiled into one messy pile.

I need a burst of something...

    I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling right now. I've been there too many times to count. I think the worst for me is when I know what the problem is, and I know what to do about it, and I still can't seem to make myself do it.

    Have you considered participating in any of the challenges here on SP? I'm on the 10-minutes of daily activity, as well as the team challenge of getting 20 minutes of moderate cardio in 3x per week.

    I find that when I'm ready to get out of a slump starting on small things like that help be build up momentum. When I try to jump full force back into the routines I'd developed at my fitness and nutrition high points I just get more discouraged.
