Day Four - Lean Cuisine

Good morning!
I am excited about one thing today - my blood sugar this morning was 170! What an improvement! I am just about dancing about that. emoticon

I wish I were dancing about my food from yesterday. I really struggled. Big Time. I nibbled here, I nibbled there. Not good. I wanted to eat so much more than I did, so I just went to bed before I did some real damage. I ended up going over anyway, about 300 calories over.

Question for anyone who reads this... How many calories are you eating per day? I was told by a friend, who is a nurse, that I am eating too little (1600 max.). That is the same amount of calories I was eating when I was on WW, just converted to Points. I know from years and years of dieting that to lose a pound I need to have a 3500 calorie deficit from either eating less or exercise. So, if I eat any more, I would only lose 1 pound every other week. NOT COOL.

Thoughts? Suggestions? emoticon
