A mixed bag...

So....got a good night's sleep last night. Was dead to the world when the alarm went of at 5:45 am - but came to life quickly. The day started out with a pretty high energy level, but by noon I was kind of beginning to go flat. Good thing I got the walking done in the morning between bus routes.

There was vacuuming to be done, as the grandsons are coming this weekend - one of them is just learning to walk & spends a lot of time on the floor. My wonderful old German Shepherd sheds year 'round so the piles of dog hair begin to accumulate immediately after each run of the vacuum, as you can imagine. Didn't get it all done because I knew if I didn't quit when it got dark that I'd never get the strength training in and I was nearly out of gas....Ugh...

Got the strength training in and a little Yoga afterwords but the rest of the housecleaning will have to wait until tomorrow. I am more important than the floors!!!!!!!

No trouble with food today. Not a single craving for anything!! Well, maybe I did have a few visions of pizza dancing in my head for a little while - but they left pretty quickly. No hunger today either. Not a lot of zip today, but still, it was a good day.

Pretty tired right now, so I'll wind it up for today. Hope you had a great day too if you're reading this!!

Your day sounds similiar to mine...always exercise in the morning so I know its done! Glad to see you value yourself over the floors! Housework will always be there...time for ourselves won't!

If you eat protein for your snacks, it might
improve your energy levels. Just a thought
but you are doing so good.
