End of Week 3/Beginning of week 4

My official weigh-in weight today was 317.4. That means I have lost 14.8 pounds in 3 weeks. I think that's just awesome! I have a confession though, I'm using this weight-loss attempt also known as a lifestyle change as an excuse to cook for myself again.
Ever since I moved in with my boyfriend (together now for 3 1/2 years) and his mom (we live with her because she has health issues and can't live alone), she has been cooking the majority of the meals while I cooked twice a week. When she cooks, she does the fried foods, lots of butter, lots of red meat. If I tried to introduce healthier choices on my cooking days (grilled chicken, ground turkey instead of ground beef, baked fries instead of drowning in grease, etc) I would have to contend with complaints or have to cook two different meals. We decided to just let me take care of my own meals. Finally back to the food I've missed ever since I moved down here. I attribute my cooking as a great part of my success so far. Less salt, less grease, and definitely more veggies!
