Well, I was SUPPOSED to take advantage of the last day I could run before rain moved in here this week... Instead, I guess I took the easy way out and just walked 2 miles. And it was with Little Boy in tow, so of course it was at a snail's pace. Actually, I think I saw a couple slugs pass us as he started complaining of side stitches, but oh well. At least I got to clear the sticks that have fallen all winter from my path as we were walking... I'm usually too busy running to stop and do that.
I was also supposed to do my Ripped in 30 DVD... but I couldn't stand it anymore. I had to try my Extreme Shed and Shred DVD. I've had it a few weeks and never even broke the plastic. OH MY! IT WAS GREAT! I loved it, y'all. Really, I think this is the most fun one yet by JM... and a little longer than her others, so I burned a little more butter. :-)
For date day, we ate out in town and just spent some time bumming around. I was so proud of myself for my choice of entree... I got grilled tilapia with a few grilled shrimp on top, steamed broccoli, green beans, a little rice, and some chips and salsa. It was great! I felt full, but so content. For a treat, we had some frozen yogurt and on the way home I did give in to some Chic-Fil-A fries... but with all I ate, I wasn't even hungry tonight. I'm still not, really. I'll probably be ravenous in the morning! I had a banana and am about to call it a night.
Goals for tomorrow: Eat something healthy at work for lunch, pack my breakfast, exercise with my sis tomorrow night, and make sure I walk more at work. I do believe that sitting so much at work is starting to make my back and neck hurt...
