Day Three - Lean Cuisine

Wednesday, January 25, 2012

Good morning,

Yesterday was a tough one for me. I did well for breakfast. I had the Smart Ones Ham and Egg Scramble. It was tasty, but there were some tough pieces of ham.
It was a exhausting day at daycare - one of my babies hasn't pooped in FOUR days. He was a cranky little guy. Poor baby. So, around lunch time, he had me up and down for the better part of two hours. This is usually when he naps, so my lunch (spaghetti w.meat sauce) sat in the microwave that whole time. Needless to say, it wasn't the best it could be.
The preschoolers also had spaghetti and I found myself nibbling on theirs as I walked by. I tracked it though. It was about a quarter cup. New rule for daycare food: Put it away immediately after serving!
I did catch what I was doing, though, and got out some celery and carrots to snack on. When I got to my lunch, the pasta was clumpy. Not really appetizing. So, of course, since I obsess about food, I wanted MORE. So I ate veggies. I ended up snacking on those the better part of the afternoon.
For dinner, I had salisbury steak w. mac and cheese. It was fulfilling, because the fam had mac and cheese, too.
I ended with TWO skinny cows (because I COULD lol) and a choc. pudding.
Calories for the day 1450.

To work on: Emotional eating. That stress from the afternoon kept me eating all day. After dinner, I still wanted to eat whatever I wanted. Thankfully, it was low-cal stuff.

Pre-Breakfast BG: 218. Forgot bedtime medication.

P.S. It would take 22 hours for my video to upload. So I may just do a weekly video blog on SP!
