I done went and did it... I joined Lifetime Fitness

Tuesday, January 24, 2012

So in the beginning I said that I would just work out at home and go to Zumba but I received a deal I just could not refuse!!!! I joined Lifetime Fitness paying No enrollment fees and No administrative fees (that deal is really hard to come by) I saved over $200 bucks! All I paid was $10.00 for the rest of the month of January!

My membership includes childcare, 24 hour gym access, unlimited fitness classes (Zumba, cardio kickboxing, yoga, pilates and so much more), I have a personal trainer it's just too much stuff to list!

I said to myself Toya, and myself said hmm? I am worth the $60.00 per month to get to a healthier and more fit ME! I deserve to treat myself to a lifestyle that will benefit me in the long run and I will see the results and be proud of my progress!

Good for you, you are definitely worth more than $60. I know if I didn't have a gym membership I wouldn't be as motivated. So much to offer with the classes and training so you never get bored. Good luck and keep up the good work.

So happy you have made the commitment. DON'T BE LIKE ME! I joined a gym years ago and go through these cycles of attending and then abandoning the gym for months at a time. GO!!! USE IT!!!!

@ Surreal283: lol yeah I will definitely go especially since I'm paying for it that's motivation within its self! The pool is included and I can get my boys swim lessons as well (I'm gonna take lessons too as I can only float lol).

@STLadee: Thanks and good luck with getting a consistent routine, I had problems with doing that in the beginning. I actually do use my home but I only have a treadmill and my husbands weights. I also do DVD's at home but one of the perks for me joining was that I can take advantage of the personal trainer and any fitness classes I want. Plus I find that sometimes when I get home I don't feel like going down into my basement because there is no TV down there and I actually have a fear of basements at night and my hubby doesn't always want to come down with me (that big meat head)!

You are def worth more than the $60 to get healthier. Plus I think it is a fantastic deal. I heard the Lifetime fitness gyms by us are about 100 dollars a month. But I heard they are so nice! Plus in the summer you can take your kids to the pool their. At least the ones by us. That is worth a lot as well. Enjoy it and take advantage of it to the Max! You don't need a nice gym to work out, but it def makes it easier to gather up the motivation to get your ass there. lol

Good luck with the gym membership! For now I am continuing with my basement and living room until I have a good consistent routine down! emoticon
