Taking a little break time here at work and figured I might as well post for today. Last night I was SO sleepy by the time I got in bed by 10. I slept a FULL 8 hours until 6:00am this morning. WONDERFUL! I needed it, obviously.
Today I've got my lunch and lots of healthy snacks packed. I have a fabulous workout planned for tonight - boot camp class - and if I feel like it when I get back I'll do my Ripped in 30 DVD as well. This Week 1 routine is truly not all THAT strenuous compared to Level 3 of the 30 day shred, so it's really been an easy week so far. Looking forward to seeing what Week 2 has in store...
Last night I was sitting there thinking about how cool it is that my son will be raised in a healthy, active way... My hubby loves his treats and I'm sure always will, but for the vast majority of the time, I cook each night and we eat well. My son enjoys wholesome meals with our whole family around the dinner table and we do fun things as a family. I grew up with a mom who cooked everyday and was very young-hearted and active as well - so I am happy to be continuing the tradition. We have all come to cherish our family-time and are really a team. It may have taken me and my sweetie a decade to get here, but boy are we ever appreciative of each other now!
Tomorrow I get an off-day and me and my sweetie are going to be going somewhere special... not sure where yet! But it's gonna be GOOD! :) We need a DATE!
