Hemmerroid Questions...

I didnt wanna post this blog because its kind of personal.. but this is the perfect place to bring it up so i can get some advice.. Last night i had really bad constipation and these are my first inflammed hemmerroids.. im not feeling good at all and i really wanna be able to workout soon.. does anybody know what i should be eating so i have healthy bowel movements.. and how to make them feel better??

    Just curious. Are you still taking that colon cleanse stuff? Probably a good idea to ditch it.

    I take about 1.5 tsp. psyllium husk daily in the morning (Metamucil orange) and that seems to solve the problem. You may not be eating enough fat, or enough veggies & salads, that will help too.

    Have you tried making the minute muffin with flax meal? - thats a great way to get things moving also. The recipe is here on spark. Minute Muffin or Muffin in a Minute, there are a lot of variations. It's 1/4 cup flax meal, 1 egg, 1 tsp. baking powder, a little cinnamon and a little sweetener. Mix it all together, I put mine in a flat bottom little casserole (like a ramekin) and nuke it on high for about 1 minute.

    I'm pretty sure its yogurt that will help! Otherwise prunes may help things move along.
