Feeling good after my workout!

I was up way too late last night so I slept in today. I was still up before 10 so it wasn't too terribly late. We got the grocery shopping done yesterday, so other than laundry, I didn't really have anything I had to do today.

I did 63 minutes on the elliptical today. Yay! That's the longest I've ever done it. It was rough going for a bit, but I got past it and just kept going. It wasn't the fastest pace. It was only 3 miles, but at least my throat wasn't burning like last time from breathing so hard. And according to Spark, it was over 1000 calories burned. I still have to do my video for JJC. I'll do that later today.

I made quinoa with spinach and feta to have with my Boca burger for lunch. It was really tasty, and not bad for a first attempt at cooking quinoa. I should have cooked it a little longer though. It was still a little firm, but not too terribly bad.

We went to Dick's Sporting Goods yesterday so I could try on the K-Swiss Tubes I want. They don't carry them. :( I did get a couple new pair of shoes though, both on sale. They have a wider sole, so they're more stable for doing the videos. I love my Reebok Realflex, but when I'm doing the videos, I can't do the stretching and squat parts in them. Side lunges are totally out of the question in them. Because they have so much give in them, my foot slides to the outside of the shoe and there's no stability at all. Not only do I worry about rolling my ankle, its just downright uncomfortable. Its much easier and more comfortable now that the base is wider and my foot's more stable.

We're going to watch the last day of the Barrett-Jackson car auction today. Good thing today's the last day. It gets really boring after a while. :P
