I Quit

Sunday, January 22, 2012

I quit smoking cigarettes again emoticon and this time I did it cold turkey. I basically threw away the smokes and threw myself into working out and being healthy. I've quit once before in the past but picked it back up when the going got tough. When I quit the last time I used Chantix which worked great until my supply was finished. So this time around I'm doing it naturally. Thankfully I didn't suffer from withdrawal and I can honestly say that I don't miss it. It was a real nasty addiction emoticonthat was really unattractive and unhealthy.

This was the only time that quitting was acceptable emoticon

Great job. I did it 4 years ago before I dropped my weight. I used it for an excuse to lose weight instead of what everyone else does.

My motto I always remember it the only cigarette I need to avoid is the first one. That is the one that always got me to go back to smoking.

It will not be easy, but I will say a prayer for you to have strength during this time.

Great! It will be a one day at time thing for a while. I did that about 20 yrs ago and haven't had a cigarette since.

Why don't you reward yourself every day by putting what you would have spent on cigarettes in a jar and spend it once a month on something you always said you couldn't afford.

I did that and went on a 3 week holiday.
