What Baby Steps Are You Taking Toward Your Goal for 2012?

I've joined the thread, "What Are Your Goals For 2012", under SparkGuy's 10 Minute Fitness Club, to help keep me motivated on my quest for fitness, ten minutes at a time (mostly). Today I'm upping my weekly walking goal from 2 miles a day x 4 days, to 2.5 miles a day x 4 days, so I'll be walking at least ten miles a week. My ultimate goal is to walk 20 miles a week (including weekend activity) so I'm already half way there.

If I could work up to walking 30 miles a week, I could lose a pound a week without changing my current eating habits. Of course, as I lose weight, I'll burn less calories per mile, but then again, I'm also working out with weights, and muscle burns more calories than fat all the time, so I guess it will even out over all. So, what is your goal for 2012?

    Yup, you can definitely do it!

    I didn't really set any new goals. The plan was to keep working on what I was doing, and making sure that I'm doing it to the best of my ability.
