Hanging out in Dallas Love Executive Airport

Thursday, January 19, 2012

Well the corporate jet had computer problems and I'm hanging out at the airport. Not stressing - just chillaxing waiting for the charter to pick us up. I brought my food with me so I'm eating clean. emoticon

I had a bowl of Kashi cereal before leaving the house but did not have time for my eggwhites....sooooo when asked what I wanted to eat....you guessed right. I asked for egg whites with spinach and mushrooms. It was soooooo good.

I had meetings all day so was unable to keep up with my 2-3 hour eating schedule so I packed a bunch of Quest bars and plain Chobani yogurt. I nibbled on that trying to make it to the afternoon. We finished up our meetings and boarded the plane. We were in the air for about 30 minutes and I was all ready to have Rosemary Pork Loin, Asparagus and salad....until the crew came out and told us that there was an issue with the computer system and that the control tower had ordered us to return. I'm not the least bit angry considering what could have happened...and there are no large bodies of water between Dallas and Atlanta so the chances of a Sully Sullenberg landing was out of the question. emoticon

So I'm Sparking and recruiting new members for the Jackie Warner team. I have two new members so I feel like I'm doing pretty good. My goal is to get my number of members up to at least 150 by end of year.

I'm staring real hard at a platter of cheese and crackers. They are calling my name but I'm not listening. I'm waiting for my salmon which should be here any minute. We ordered out - they're having pizza but I'm going to be good if it kills me.

Keep on Sparking!!!!

God works in mysterious ways, that was a blessing for them to catch the computer problem and able to turn the jet around before it got too far. Awesome you are doing the right thing of taking control of your body and soul.

Chile, you are (or were) out here in my hood! You are doing so well with the eating because I have no discipline when traveling is involved. (well, lately I haven't had any at all..and ain't been nowhere.)

    Safe travels.
