More Pep Today!

It was one of those pretty busy, full days. Two loads of wash, changing the bed, taking care of chickens, rabbits & the dog. It's below freezing, so just keeping the water open for the outside small livestock takes quite a bit of extra time. And....driving the bus 3x/day too. What I'm getting at is it was a little bit harder to cram in the exercise - seemed like I was running around all day long! That's not a bad thing though, in fact, maybe that's the POINT of this!!
Got a good 80 min. of walking in and strength training. In one of the upper body sets I moved on to heavier weights. Yes, I could feel the burn! But it also felt like an accomplishment when I got done. No trouble with food today - no temptations - no hunger - no glitches. A much easier day than yesterday!! I think maybe with days like yesterday one of the things I'll keep in the forefront of my mind will be 'This too shall pass." The cravings & temptations will come, but they will also pass. I need to be very aware of that.
Today the exercise didn't feel forced, it was just a matter of fitting it into a very busy day.
Tomorrow, I'd like to start using one of the SparkPeople DVD's that I bought. I'm sure they're very good and will work muscles that I haven't targeted yet.
