Missed lunch

I finally incorporated exercise. Last night I did Elements: PM Yoga. I don't know if that burns any calories but I kinda enjoy it & it's easy to do so I don't feel like a loser. My stomache got in the way a little but most importantly it got me moving. Then this morning the first thing I did after breakfast was checked out what fitness videos they had on OnDemand. I found one called Bollywood Dance so I tried it out. I did the entire half hour but ouch. Some of the parts I just couldn't keep up with and I about fell over when she had me jumping on one foot. LOL Needless to say, this morning the curtains in the living room were pulled shut tight! And I forbid my husband from peeking on me. Anyway, when I wasn't able to keep up I just reverted back to an easier move so that I didn't stop moving. My heart rate was definitely up afterward but the shower I then took sure felt good!

My husband did catch me off guard around lunch & I ended up missing lunch completely. I used that to my advantage though later by allowing myself one of my not so healthy meals. I did make some swaps though to make it healthier. I swapped out regular soy sauce for lite soy sauce & my husband didn't even notice a difference. He just might end up healthier too by default!

My husband finally brought in my exercise bike from storage. So that gives me one more option for exercising.

Tomorrow we're picking up our new bathtub with water jets! I've never had one of those so I'm very excited! It'll be the perfect treat when my muscles are sore from exercising. Maybe I'll make a rule that I can't use the jets unless I've exercised.

I did set myself a reward after I lose 10 pounds. My husband gave me a gift certificate for a local day spa on my birthday last month so I'll let myself use it then. And I've picked the treatment too!

Herbology Body Polish - 45 minutes - Natural Chinese herbs, citrus fruit massage oils and emollient body cream are warmed and massaged over your body to exfoliate, soften and nourish the skin. Heat is applied to relax your cocooned body. Relieves stress and fatigue and leaves the entire body with a radient glow.

Doesn't that sound wonderful! Oh & I think I might have lost a pound! I'm not sure because I have a stupid dial scale instead of a digital scale and its really hard to tell but I think I did.

    Yay you!
I also have a stupid dial scale. I'm not replacing it though. I will be able to see a weight loss around 5 lbs. Which is good for me. That way I'm not worrying about a pound here or a pound there, I just keep up with the healthy stuff and the dial will move when it moves, you know?
You sound like you're doing a GREAT job!

You are doing great and have some wonderful ways to pamper yourself!! I'm so jealous of your new tub! I LOVE hot baths, but unfortunately our tub is super uncomfortable. Maybe I should ask my husband to remodel the bathroom as a reward! LOL! Love that you are trying new workouts too! I should check out workout on my Netflix! Thanks for giving me some great ideas!

The spa day sounds fun! Keep up the great work!

I have the same issue with a cheap dial scale- might have lost a couple of pounds, but can't tell with it. Sounds like it's time to upgrade to a more accurate scale.

Wow, sounds like you're going to pampered in the upcoming months! I'm pretty envious...I would kill to have jets in my tub!

Good for you for doing to workouts that you're not used to...I think it's important for both your mind and body to mix things up! Keep it up!
