    I know exactly how you feel about being angry, I have gotten so upset sometimes that I go into anxiety mode cuz I have no outlet, what has worked for me however, has been to just get a paper pad and just scribble, draw circles, no words, just think of what made me angry and scribble.....just to get the initial anger out again, then I get a scratchbord kit. I have found these at micheals, and they work really well for me. I find it difficult to be upset trying to focus. My favorite one is a flower one, because its detailed enough to keep me focused, but not too detailed to get me upset all over again. What that kit contains, is a scratch knife and pattern and board kind of like a fiberboard....good luck and keep up the good work! love your background picture! :) emoticon

    The difference between getting past that weight loss # and continuing to fall back is making the change in your mind that you will do it and let that transcend into the physical change! For anger, have you ever been to Reiki? It is channeling your emotions and it worked really well for me. The other thing is exercise workouts that you are passionate about, that is stress relief. Glad you enjoyed other people giving compliments, keep up the fight and you CAN do it!!

    Get REALLY mad!

    That's when I get the BEST workouts in.
    And workouts don't have to mean getting to the gym. Throw on some angry music and go for a walk or jog in place. Go as hard as you can for 1 minute. Then see how you feel. Still mad? Do jumping jacks for 1 minute and check again.

    This is when I usually throw on a kickboxing workout DVD! I can punch imaginary people till the cows come home and it makes me feel incredible!

    Not only are you wearing off all of that energy and working through your anger, you're getting some exercise in as well! Double bonus!
    Plus you feel relaxed and the endorphins naturally make you happier when you're finished.

    Give it a try and see how long it takes you to calm down.

    Wow what a great blog, so honest and heartfelt, makes me wish I were more like you; as far as the anger thing maybe that would be a good time to get in a little extra exercise I know my head feels a lot clearer after I put on the head phones and bounce around for awhile. Best of luck to you

    Kudos on not beating up your car but I know what you mean about needing to chanel your anger. I always feel the need to beat the crap out of something (someone) when I get to that crazy unreasonable kind of pissed off. In the past I've gone for a fast (unsafe) drive on the highway and just screamed as loud and as hard as I possibly could. The dirving part isn't very safe and the scream usually leads to a headache but it helped. Now days I put on gloves and punch trees... seriously. I'm aiming to get a punching bag of some kind in the future. Perhaps that would be a good outlet for you as well? Stay strong, doll!
