I figured out my BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) today. If I did the calculations correctly, that is.



Trying to wrap my head around what this means. Once I reach my goal weight, I *think* it is how many calories I can consume and not gain weight. However, this does not account for exercise. If I do my usual 45 minutes x 6 days per week, it goes up to around 1800. Wowser!

That seems like alot of calories after being on this 1200-1550 diet (doing my best to say around 1300) since October.

Think I am going to go re-figure, just to be sure. And re-read the article about BMR. I so want to get this right so when I reach my goal I will be able to maintain in a healthy way!
