Rock the (hoopies) Vote!

Tuesday, January 17, 2012

I had enough nominations that I'm on the short list! I'm number 5, Shannon H in the Newbie Hooper category. They used my Big Girls Can Hoop video. I really think my biggest competition out of the people nominated is Tilly Whirls and JJ Hula.

I'm really hoping that Kimowan Metchewais wins his category. He died this year and it really hit the hooping community hard. :(

Another update from the Biggest Loser contest: I didn't win. Or even place in the top 30. I know I can do this on my own. It just was something I sorta wanted. Who doesn't want to spend a few weeks working on only their weight loss?

I also think I have a sinus infection which makes doing this healthy thing annoying. Blah!

Loved your Big Girls Can Hoop vid! I am off to go watch more of your viddies! I got a lame-o toy hoop at the store...can't keep it off the ground. Soon as payday hits I am going to order a REAL hoop. Any suggestions for a newbie hooper? emoticon

Congratulations on the hoopie nomination Shannon! I think your videos are great! Sorry you are disappointed on the Biggest Loser contest; but, there are a lot of positives to doing it on your own. You've got a lot going for you!

Thanks! It's not like I can't lose weight without it! I've already lost 5+" since the video. I'm so excited and nervous!
