Making changes - making progress

I weighed in this morning & was pleasantly surprised to see I'm down a couple pounds. I've made a couple changes in my diet in the hope that I'd see some change. So far so good.
I made a soup mix that has split peas & some barley & other good stuff. The calories & fat are low and the fiber & protein is really high. It's really filling. It doesn't taste that great (lol) but I don't even care. I've been doing better with water, fruits & veggies too.
I want to keep this momentum going!! So far, 2012 has been good. Oh, and I hit a lottery ticket for $50. That'll be 5 weeks of Zumba classes!!! Hip Hip Horray!!
