Two Down & A Lot More To Go...........

Well the first two weeks of January has came and went. I can't believe how fast time flies (too bad the pounds couldn't fly with it) LOL. Although, I really can't complain since I started out the New Year at 315 lbs. and today I weighed in at 303.8 which is a loss of 11.2 lbs. so far this month. I guess being involved in six different challenges at one time DOES pay off. LOL. I am really enjoying these challenges even though it is kind of hard to keep up with all of them on a daily basis. I been getting a wide variety of exercises, as well as tracking nutrition, and trying hard to stay within my calorie range everyday. By being more involved, I have been learning about "Spark" and it's "People" more and more everyday. It has enlighten, motivated, and inspired me to live "life" to it's fullest each day and it has help me to realize it's okay to mess up as long as you don't give up. Life is challenging each and every day, but what I choose to do with those challenges is all up to me! Good Luck and God Bless!

    That is a great weight loss. I quit after losing 40 pounds in 2010 because I am a binge eater and ate most of our son's ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. I didn't come back until I was nearing a doctors appointment in May of 2011 and I knew she was going to be upset with me.

    I lose weight then try to convince myself that I don't have to keep exercising and that I can eat the way I did that caused my weight problem. I am trying this time to get to my goals and get rid of that type of thinking. I was lying to myself.

    Thank you for reading my blog, "I had a great day." I enjoyed my meal although I had no idea we were going to be going to a restaurant for dinner and I liked the food I chose. I also liked sweet potato fries which I have never had. I always dip French fries into ketchup, but these were good without it and I didn't miss it. It is little things like that that will add up to pounds lost, instead of a baked potato, butter, salt and pepper and sour cream like I used to get.

    You are on your way and doing wonderfully, congratulations! It feels good, doesn't it?

    I feel like we are so similar in our goals. I started my journey in weight loss all over again 10 days ago and started at 317.2 I weighed myself yesterday morning and was at 307.2 soo I am totally understandning where you are coming from! This website has shown me that We are not alone with any struggles any of us may have! And has given me extra motivation to keep up with this!! I will push myself until I am where I want to be!!
