The christmas kilos are gone, woohoo!

The extra kilos I gained over Christmas are finally gone, yay! I've been getting up at 530am on weekdays to go to the gym before work then heading to a class after work. To some this probably sounds a little excessive but I really want to be putting my best foot forward in the triathlons I'm competing in. Plus.. the buss from working out in the morning really sets me up for a positive day!
The weekend I only do 1 workout a day and the weekend just gone saw me going to 2 Bikram Yoga classes. Today my muscles are achy and I like it.

Food wise I'm pretty lucky because it's summer here. All the good fruit n vege is fresh, cheap and readily available. I'm also still learning more and mroe about traditional chinese cooking which is creating a focus on nutrient content which is something I've never really paid too much attention to before.

At work we've started a Biggest Loser competition in the office. I'm in a team and I'm really conscious of not letting the team down so I'm doing my best.
I had a couple of big boozy nights recently which have not helped my efforts but have promised myself that I will limit my drinking to 1 night per week and be mindful of the amount I'm drinking.

Tongiht I will go for a swim in the Bay and then walk up Mt Victoria. Later int he week I have a reassessment at the gym which will be interesting.
