Reality Check

Saturday, January 14, 2012

Saturday and thought I could sleep in. No such luck! Well I got the dreaded weigh in finished. Down 1.4lbs. My initial response was disappointment. Not sure why. Then I gave myself a reality check. This weight took a lifetime to gain, and I expect it off quickly without a lot of blood, sweat and tears. It isn't going to happen. I need to focus on the basics of water, exercise and eating healthy. If I do that I know that the weight will come off. I won't be perfect all of the time, but I shouldn't expect to be. This isn't a diet, but a healthy life plan. I need to be able to indulge once in awhile. Well, enough of my rambling. Talk to ya tomorrow!

Congrats on the loss, however small! Every little bit is a step towards your goal! Sounds like you are making good choices and doing what is good for your body, including allowing a treat now and then! Keep up the good work!

I know we dont know one another, but I know you CAN DO THIS!! I have been on SP off and on for the last 2 years...always do good, and then get kind of mad when my weekly weigh in has arrived and I lost 1 lb..WHAT!!! I am doing things a little different this time around..I am making sure I blog everyday, even if it is a short little one, but this way when I feel kind of mad, etc...I log back on here, re-read one or more of my blogs and it seems to get me back in check! I will kick you in the pants if you do the same for me,.
