The SPARK-alanche!

Committing to just one thing--walking 20 miles per week--is making a huge difference in my life. It's forcing me to get more sleep, so I wake up in time to get the miles in. It's making me schedule chores and cooking, so that tasks are actually getting done.

It's a SPARK-alanche! Rolling downhill, picking up speed. I dare anything to get in its way!

We had a our first taste of winter today in northwest Indiana (not as bad as the photo, that was last year) but I was out there getting some miles in and acclimating to the colder weather. 1,000 miles, here I come!

    You are doing SO WELL, my friend! I'm so proud of you with the walking. Isn't it funny to realize how many different things are affected -- weight, stamina, sleep, energy -- when you make a lifestyle change like that.

    You GO girl (and believe it or not, I'm jealous of the snow. I really want to snow shoe this winter!)

    So that's where our snow went! We haven't had any worthy of the name here in the Detroit area so far...which is just how I like it.

    Cngrats on staying consistent and working on your walking goal. Little changes DO add up and snowball into big results.

    Yes, one thing can make a difference. Good job for setting that goal! I love it....especially in this weather! Brrr! I'm over here in Northeast Indiana...we got socked, too! No school today for us...and I work at the school...4 day weekend now!
