Keeping the motivation

I am coming across my most difficult hurdle yet...keeping my motivation through a slump. I was doing so very well at the weight loss thing, that I find it frustrating when I lose just a few ounces in a week. I'm probably not alone in this feeling, but in moments like this I FEEL alone!

So, instead of getting angry I'm getting even. I am coming up with every trick I can think of to stay motivated! I have done a before/after pic and put it as my wallpaper on my blackberry. I contacted the Health Liaison at work and he has sent me a bunch of reading material. I have placed health magazines (got a stack from a friend) in my bathroom. I have even put myself on the list of potential nominees for the board at my TOPS group.

I can't give up this time. On February 28th it will be exactly one year from my heart attack. That looming date reminds me that I cannot fail this time.

I will not fail.
