Up Before My Alarm!

I was so excited about going to the gym today after not going yesterday that I woke up twice before my alarm went off! There was no negative talk to myself this morning trying to talk me out of it.. I was jazzed to go. The day off really helped with my aching muscles and joints and I think that helped a lot. Plus, I noticed a huge difference in my energy level yesterday and in my mood. I knew going today would help both. Three minutes into being on the bike and my legs were already burning... :-/ but I pushed through to the ten minutes. I kept telling myself in another week or so the ten minutes will be easy and I'll have to bump it up to fifteen. My goal is to get to thirty minutes on the bike before I do my workout and then another thirty minutes on some other cardio machine or a video at home after I do my strength training.

I wasn't as self aware today at the gym as I normally am, but there also wasn't that many people... could they already be thinning out from the resolutioners?? I did go about fifteen minutes earlier today though.

I really need to start focusing on drinking more water. I was really dehydrated today and kept having to drink my water because my mouth was so dry.

    That's awesome!!! I miss being on the bikes together! Your body will remember those old habits (good habits, of being on the bike) and you'll see improvement faster than if it were entirely new. (I think so anyway..) you can do it!!!
